About me
There is an idea that in order to see a therapist you must have a very significant problem or issue to work out. This is absolutely not the case. Everyone can benefit from talking to an objective person about life. Some problems are clearly more urgent than others, but everyone has something important to talk about. It may be a problem with creativity, a relationship, finances, work, dreams, parenting, aging, trauma, life transitions, or anxiety related to daily living. Perhaps you would like to harness your talents and identify those desires which are unfulfilled. Maybe you are ready for change and don't know where to begin.
In working with me you will feel free to express whatever is on your mind. Our time together will be focused on helping you to unlock limiting inhibitions in your life . This process can help you live more freely with greater energy, creativity and joy. I believe that when you put all of your thoughts and feelings into words they no longer tie up precious space in your mind. You learn to sort through them and work towards Clarity. Patterns of thought which do not serve you well are meant to be let go. I am an experienced, empathetic, and objective listener, here to help support you to become more aware of what is interfering with achieving your desired results.
Life is full of conflict. Sorting out your thoughts and feelings is an excellent way to clear your mind and to gain control of your actions.

I have been a therapist for over 30 years. After receiving my Masters in Social Work from Yeshiva University in 1976, I attended The Center For Modern Psychoanalysis and was trained there in Psychoanalytic Studies where I received certification in 1981.

I specialize in working online or by telephone. I can provide 30 minute or 50 minute sessions.
